The investigators that we are teaching now are Clevia and Matis (her son), Carlos Coreno, Venesa, (Family Espinosa jimena,karla, and daisy). We are going to a members house tonight to teach her neighbors, the samudios. We are being blessed with success. I am learning more Spanish each day. I still don´t understand everything, but I can usually get a general idea from their words and body language. On preparation day we usually clean a bit in the morning and then go and have an activity with our zone. Today we went to a different sector (area) and played basketball, football Americano and football. The church buildings have canchas or courts outside of the building. We actually had lunch there today too. We made completos, which are hot dogs with tomatoes, mayo, gauc. and anything else that sounds good on it. We do our laundry after and also go to the store "Lider" to shop.
The people here are great. I think they are a lot more laid back and not so busy. There seems to be a lot of awkward silence moments with members and even on the streets talking to people but I think it is just customary. Elder Val Verde is really good at talking to people.
Elder Val Verde is great. I´m sure glad I got him. I´m learning how to just talk to people actually mostly watching and smiling, but learning. He is really good at soccer to. Yes, he is supposed to learn English also. He wants to learn to "speak fast like Americans".
