Clevia and Matias have their baptismal date for next week, the 31st. We are praying for them and working hard to help them. We taught them the Word of Wisdom and the law of tithing this last week. …I really have been in amazement this past week especially with Clevia and Matias. I think it is just incredible that 2 young men in shirts and ties (on face value) can teach somebody a principle and they will change their life. This is really hard to express. I know it has nothing to do with us. There is a real change that is taking place inside of them. Why would they continually listen to two boys teach them the gospel. There is something happening in the souls that is driving their desire. I am beginning to see that when someone has a real desire to be clean before God, they will change their life. It is incredible that they really trust in God and believe that by entering into baptism, they will be clean. That is amazing to me...how the Spirit works inside someone so that they will change their lives to become clean.
Adolfo came again to church …He is so great. He comes to church all by himself without anyone reminding him, he just comes. Also, Venesa came to church. …She loved it as far as I could tell. The people in the ward are so good at fellowshipping. Not many will come in and out without greeting them and introducing themselves. The people are so so sweet. I never knew how much it meant to a missionary for ward members to befriend an investigator. I am praying that Heavenly Father will bless those that have been a part of helping the missionaries. It is such a relief and the Spirit is so strong in friendship.
